Florida is well known for it’s citrus, but there are many other fruits and veggies that are ready to harvest during the Florida fall season.  Since summers can get too hot for many crops in Florida, some veggies will be grown in the fall and/or winter (think: bell peppers, strawberries, snap beans).  There are however, many types of produce that are grown and harvested year-round, some of these would include: guava, mushrooms and coconuts.

Though this is only a snippet of what is currently in season, check out Fresh From Floridas season guide for more information!
